Hi, I’m Quinn Goin, CLC.

My passion for supporting women through their feeding journeys began with my own. I am a mom of two boys, and I struggled immensely to breastfeed my first baby.

I dealt with numerous issues including poor transfer & weight gain, supply issues, elastic nipples, flange sizing issues, and recurrent clogged ducts & milk blebs. I sought out help from a number of professionals including midwives, OB/GYNs, lactation consultants, breast surgeons, chiropractors, and integrative medicine doctors. None of them were able to help me with my recurrent issues, and I ultimately weaned much sooner than I wanted to because of these problems. I made it my mission to learn everything I could in preparation for my next baby. Although I faced unexpected challenges with my second pregnancy and delivery due to placenta previa, I was able to transition from exclusively pumping for my premature baby who spent 24 days in the NICU, to exclusively nursing by the time he was 2.5 months old! I have also been fortunate enough to donate thousands of ounces to NICU babies in need.

My personal experience and the passion I developed for sharing my knowledge with other moms lead me to pursue my CLC credential, and begin my IBCLC journey as well. My goal is always to help you feed with confidence.

I am a Certified Lactation Counselor, and a student earning my clinical hours to sit for the IBCLC exam under Leslie Owens, RN/IBCLC. Any issues that require clinical intervention or evaluation beyond my scope of practice will be referred to Leslie or a qualified IBCLC local to you.
